To switch off Windows Vista User Account Control follow this simple process (or see disabling User Account Control in Windows 7):
| 1. | Go to 'Control Panel > User Accounts'. |
| 2. | Click 'User Accounts'. |

| 3. | Click 'Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off'. |
Windows Vista User Access Control
| 3. | Make sure that the checkbox next to 'Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer' is unchecked. |
Disabling Windows Vista User Access Control
| 4. | Click 'OK' to exit. |
