To switch off Windows 7 User Account Control follow this simple process (or see disabling User Account Control in Windows Vista) - note that this process requires you to restart the computer to complete the process of turning off UAC (although Windows 7 will not prompt you for this):
| 1. | Go to 'Control Panel > User Accounts'. |
| 2. | Click 'User Accounts'. |
| 3. | Click 'Change User Account Control settings'. |

| 3. | Move the slider bar down to “Never notify”. |
Disabling Windows 7 User Access Control
| 4. | Click 'OK' to exit. |
| 5. | Restart the computer. |
