Adding a Network License

If you are installing your Team-GIS product in a Network licensing configuration then follow the steps below (there is a different process for Standalone licenses):

 

1.On the machine you are using as the Team-GIS license server run Team-GIS License Manager (‘Start > All Programs > Exprodat >Team-GIS License Manager’).

2.Note that the Sentinel license file defaults to 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Exprodat\Team-GIS\Lic\lservrc' - we recommend that you DO NOT change this unless you are familiar with Sentinel licensing.
3.Authorise the product with a valid license file by clicking the green arrow icon to the right of 'Install New License'.
4.Navigate to the folder where the license key is located and click ‘OK’.

5.The license(s) should now be displayed in the 'License Availability' panel.
6.Finally, set the license server for each client machine to point at the Team-GIS license server.

 

Note: It is recommended that you keep secure back-ups of all Team-GIS license files.
