| License Administration > Adding a New License > Adding a Standalone License |
Follow the steps below to license your Team-GIS product using a Standalone license (there is a different process for Network licenses):
| 1. | Run Team-GIS License Manager from the Start menu (‘Start > All Programs > Exprodat >Team-GIS License Manager’). |
| 2. | Select ‘Standalone’ at the first prompt. |
| 3. | The Team-GIS License Manager application will launch in 'Standalone' mode. |

| 4. | If the License File Path is not set, click the top right-hand green arrow, navigate to the following directory and click 'OK': |
| • | 32 bit machine: “<install drive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Exprodat\Team-GIS\Lic” |
| • | 64 bit machine: “<install drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Exprodat\Team-GIS\Lic” |
| 5. | Next, click the green arrow to the right of 'Install New License' option. |
| 6. | Navigate to the license file you were provided by Exprodat and click ‘Open’. |
| 7. | You should receive a success message and the product names should appear in the 'License Availability' panel. |

| 8. | Select ‘Close’ to exit. |
Note: It is recommended that you keep secure back-ups of all Team-GIS license files.
