This section does not apply to Standalone licensing.

Before you set-up Network licensing you must first identify a computer to use as the Team-GIS license server. When selecting this computer please note the following information:

•	Do not select the same machine as the ArcGIS license server - this configuration is not supported.

•	Ensure the machine has high availability.

•	The computer can be a physical or virtual machine.

•	Select a separate machine from where you intend to run ArcGIS Desktop. There may be times when this is not possible (e.g. if you are using Citrix) - if so please note the information about installing Network licensing using a single server.

•	You may already have a FlexLM license server set-up, if so then this might be ideal as the SafeNet Sentinel RMS licensing used by Team-GIS can happily co-exist on the same machine.
