The following tools are used by the Team-GIS product suite for licensing the applications:

Team-GIS products use the Sentinel RMS licensing solution. The interface between Team-GIS products and the licensing solution is provided by the Team-GIS License Manager application, which allows the administrator to add, delete and manage licenses.

Team-GIS License Manager

Team-GIS License Manager may be installed both on the license server (if appropriate) and client machines, and operates in three different modes:

1.	'Standalone' Mode - Used in a Standalone license configuration, and installed at the same time as the Team-GIS product.

2.	'Network (Client)' Mode - Used on the client machines in a Network license configuration, and installed at the same time as the Team-GIS product.

3.	'Network (Server)' Mode - Used on the license server in a Network license configuration, and installed by the 'Team-GIS Licence Server' installation option.

Note that you cannot use Team-GIS License Manager to manage other products licensed by Sentinel technology, and conversely should not manage Team-GIS licenses via another vendor’s license manager.

Team-GIS Network License Installer

Team-GIS License Installer is an application that manages the installation of Team-GIS License Manager and the Sentinel licensing components to the license server when the 'Team-GIS License Server' option is selected from the installation menu. The application has no graphical user interface and is only used during the installation process. This can optionally be removed manually after installation, if desired.

Sentinel RMS License Manager

If you are intending to install Team-GIS products in Network mode using a license server then you should check whether the intended license server already has a Sentinel licensing solution from another product installed, e.g. by using 'Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs' list.

Team-GIS License Server Programs

If there is a 'Sentinel RMS License Manager' installed it is recommended that you make sure that it is the same version as the one provided with Team-GIS version 200 products, i.e. version 8.2.2. If the Sentinel software currently installed on your license server pre-dates this version then, if possible, remove it before starting the Team-GIS version 200 product installation.

In addition, if you have any other products on the same machine that use Sentinel licensing you need to make additional configuration changes to ensure that these products can co-exist with Team-GIS products.
